Commercial & Residential Cleaning
Services Using Environmentally
Sensitive Products

“I found Green Clean while I was searching for a cleaning company that was not only high caliber, but one that is in line with our company’s credo to be environmentally-sound. Green Clean is both; they clean everything efficiently and effectively using only their own equipment and environmentally-safe products. In addition, we purchase recyclable enviro-paper products through Green Clean which stocks them in our cache. Because I appreciate Green Clean I have referred them to one of our owners—they clean his home and they even clean mine! I would recommend them to anyone.”

Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)

The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization committed to a prosperous and sustainable future through cost-efficient and energy-saving green buildings. USGBC works toward its mission of market transformation through its LEED green building certification program, robust educational offerings, a nationwide network of chapters and affiliates, the annual Greenbuild International Conference & Expo, professional credentials and advocacy in support of public policy that encourages and enables green buildings and communities.

What does LEED Mean?

LEED, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is redefining the way we think about the places where we live, work and learn. As an internationally recognized mark of excellence, LEED provides building owners and operators with a framework for identifying and implementing practical and measurable green building design, construction, operations and maintenance solutions.

With nearly 9 billion square feet of building space participating in the suite of rating systems and 1.6 million feet certifying per day around the world, LEED is transforming the way built environments are designed, constructed, and operated --- from individual buildings and homes, to entire neighborhoods and communities. LEED is comprehensive and flexible, LEED works throughout a building's life cycle.

LEED certification provides independent, third-party verification that a building, home or community was designed and built using strategies aimed at achieving high performance in key areas of human and environmental health: sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection and indoor environmental quality. Who are LEED Accredited Professionals?

A LEED Professional Credential signifies that you are a leader in the field and an active participant in the green building movement who contributes expertise to the design, construction, operations and maintenance of buildings and neighborhoods that save energy, use fewer resources, reduce pollution, and contribute to healthier environments for their occupants and the community.

LEED AP Operations + Maintenance (LEED AP O+M)

The LEED AP O+M credential distinguishes professionals implementing sustainable practices, improving performance, heightening efficiency and reducing environmental impact in existing buildings through enhanced operations and maintenance. The specialty denotes practical knowledge in the LEED for Existing Buildings: Operations and Maintenance rating system. (USGBC web site)
